Since 2020, Garrett Wang and Robert Duncan McNeill have been hosts of the podcast The Delta Flyers.

The podcast focused on a weekly watch of an episode of Star Trek: Voyager. The actors, who appeared in the series as Ensign Harry Kim and Lt. Tom Paris respectively, recapped the episodes and offered insights and reviews. The team wrapped up their viewing with Endgame before the SAG-AFTRA strike. Now, having finished Voyager, they’re turning their attention to another Star Trek property, and this time, they’ll be joined by Terry Farrell and Armin Shimerman as they all journey through Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

According to Trekmovie, Wang and McNeill recently posted the update to the Patreon (before the strike) that chapter two of the podcast will focuse on the Avery Brooks-led series, and Farrell and Shimerman will co-host. Since the hosts won’t be able to start the Deep Space Nine discussions until the strike is over, they have some actors lined up for the future.

The Delta Flyers will focus on actors and their journeys to become actors

In September, the podcast, which you can find at https://www.patreon.com/TheDeltaFlyers, has a line-up of actors they’ll be interviewing which will give listeners a chance to learn more about them and how they got started and their personal journeys. So far, they have Roxann Dawson, Tim Russ, Ethan Phillips, and Martha Hackett lined up , and they will be adding more actors and directors as the strike continues. Once the strike is over, the weekly watch of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine will begin.

You can join in on the podcast for as little as $3 a month for the audio version and $5 per month brings you the video version along with access to a private Facebook and Discord group so you can chat with other fans and even have the opportunity to interact with Garrett and Robbie from time to time.
