Star Trek film series
In another quadrant, practically all alone, a USS starship is on its maiden voyage, possibly similar to the USS Enterprise’s first foray into space. Everyone aboard is excited about the mission and ready to explore. Then they receive a request to pick up an Admiral to ferry them to another planet. The crew is surprised and in awe of their newest passenger as they are a high-ranking member of Starfleet and have led many successful campaigns against some of the Federation’s worst villains. But what they don’t know is that this Starfleet officer isn’t really there for a trip; they’re there to bring Starfleet down. /

Both Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager had an infiltration of the enemy posing as a Starfleet officer, but they weren’t ones whose orders had to be followed. This Admiral or Vice Admiral could be feeling betrayed by Starfleet or silenced. Their ultimate goal is to put an end to Starfleet.  And what would make this movie work is if the Admiral is a recognizable character like Chekov (Walter Koenig) from Star Trek: The Original Series, Geordi La Forge’s father, or Malcolm Reid from Enterprise. The ending of the movie would force Starfleet’s hand. Can they really kill one of their own? It would be the biggest betrayal by a member of Starfleet and the most difficult decision ever faced.
