Hallmark has released some pretty cool Star Trek ornaments over the years, and this year is no different with “Ode to Spot.”

For the first time, Hallmark is including not only a member of Starfleet, Lt. Commander Data (Brent Spiner) but also Data’s feline companion, Spot. Trekcore shared a review of the newest ornament, and this could easily become the most talked about ornament Hallmark has ever created.

With a pretty spot-on likeness of Spiner, the ornament includes Worf’s least favorite animal, Spot. Sized at just  2.62 x 5.2 x 2.08, it’s made of plastic and, with a press of a button, you can hear an abbreviated version of Data’s poem from the Star Trek: The Next Generation “Schisms,” in which he details his affection (as only he could have) for his feline such as his “fairly well-developed cognitive array.”

The ornament retails for $22.99, and is available at the Hallmark website and at Amazon with free delivery for Prime members.

Hallmark didn’t just stop with the “Ode to Spot” ornament

Another unique ornament that probably wasn’t even on anyone’s mind, is the “Hand of Apollo,” from the Star Trek: The Original Series episode, “Who Mourns for Adonais.” It’s a detailed aqua blue hand holding the Enterprise NC-1701 captive, and for lighting effect, you can insert the bulb of a standard miniature light string.

Also coming up from Hallmark later on this month are a set of two Star Trek: Lower Decks, “Badgey” ornaments, a mini (only 1.69 inches) Captain Kirk ornament from The Original Series, and a mini U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Ornament, and at 0.063 x 0.035 x 1.44, this one is perfect for the miniature desktop trees. All of these will be available on October 14th.

And if you’re more interested in tabletop decorations, Hallmark has you covered there, as well. Also releasing on October 14th is the Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Tabletop Decoration With light and sound. Not only are the sound effects from the bridge of the Enterprise included, but you can also hear dialogue from five different episodes of Star Trek: TOS.
