Hip Hop star, Kid Cudi, and Star Trek have finally revealed what fans can expect from their crossover.

Star Trek and hip-hop star Kid Cudi entered into a partnership earlier this year, with the idea of bringing a unique blend of content to Trek fans everywhere. The new campaign is called “Boldly Be” and while it was announced weeks ago, we didn’t know what to expect from the crossover. That is, until now.

According to Billboard, fans can expect some unique additions to the Trek sphere. Firstly, Kid Cudi will be releasing a new, Trek-inspired song called “Heaven’s Galaxy”, which was produced by Dot Da Genius and will drop on streaming services on Oct. 12. That’s not all, as on Oct. 12 at the New York Comic Con event, held at Javits Center, fans will also get a look at the new “streetwear capsule collection”, as well as a Fortnite gaming experience of sorts.

The clothing collection will include;

"“…tees, crewnecks, hoodies, a custom button-up T-shirt and a colorful leather varsity jacket.”"

Fans who attend the event can go to the Star Trek X Kid Cudi booth (2653) and pre-order the items. The items will drop on the rapper’s website on Oct. 16.

What can fans expect from the Star Trek X Kid Cudi Fortnite experience?

According to Billboard, the Fortnite experience will be less about Star Trek and more about Kid Cudi’s alter ego, Captain Skyles. Kid Cudi’s upcoming album, INSANO, alongside the Trek-inspired song “Heaven’s Galaxy” will feature in the game among the radio stations that fans can tune into. Plus fans of the musical artist can play a brand new in-game experience called Star Trek x Kid Cudi: Mirror Mayhem.

Until now, Star Trek has never formally been featured in Fortnite in any sort of partnership. The Vulcan Salute was brought in unofficially, but as the gaming giant tends to do affiliated crossovers, the Salute doesn’t technically count.

So this will be the first time Trek appears in Epic Games’ industry giant, Fortnite.

Previews of everything will be available at the NYCC on Oct. 12.
