No one should be surprised that Trip Tucker is on this list as his death was ludicrous and only done for a shock factor at the end of the series. There was no reason for him to die. After everything he’d seen, done, and been through, fans were supposed to believe that he survived all of that to die onboard the Enterprise when he connects two conduits together. Being an engineer, he would have known that would have resulted in a catastrophic event. And he would have also known there were other ways to trick the aliens and save Captain Archer.

Though Trip has been brought back in other media, he’s never had an on-screen resurrection, and it’s beyond time that he does. Recently, Connor Trinneer returned to voice his character in a very Short Trek, but, of course, those aren’t canon. But if he can be brought back to life in animation, he can certainly be brought back to life via live-action. He deserves a better ending. Technically, he went out a hero, but Trip wouldn’t have sacrificed himself when there were other ways to end the invasion (if you want to call it that). And he deserves to return to canon.
