Star Trek names their episodes to watch if you want to embrace the “Boldly Be” ethos.

Star Trek is currently running its new campaign called “Bodly Be”. It’s a multi-layered crossover with rapper Kid Cudi. The crossover stretches clothes, games, music, and more, with a focus on the fashion side of things. The Star Trek X Kid Cudi crossover has been the biggest new thing Trek has done since the end of summer, and it’s gotten mixed results.

The game is a mode in Fortnite that hasn’t really caught on, the new song, called “Heaven’s Galaxy” really didn’t feel or embody Star Trek, but the clothing for the most part was well done. It’s been more of a success than not, so that’s something. That said, it’ll be forgotten about in a matter of months.

That hasn’t stopped the folks at Star Trek from fully embracing the crossover, as Trek’s official website has named the best episodes to watch if you want “Boldly Be”. But would we recommend them to Trek fans to watch? Let’s find out.

Star Trek names their episodes to watch if you want to “Boldy Be”

The episodes listed on the watch list include The Next Generation’s “Tapestry”, and “Outcast”, Deep Space Nine’s “Far Beyond the Stars”,  Lowered Decks “Something Borrowed, Something Green”, Prodigy’s “All the World’s a Stage, Strange New Worlds’ “Charades”, and “Ad Astra per Aspera”.

Of all of them, “Tapestry”, “All the World’s a Stage” and “Charades” are highly recommended by yours truly. All three are great episodes of their respective series. “Ad Astra per Aspera”, and “Far Beyond the Stars” are well-received episodes that didn’t resonate with me specifically, but if you want to know what the fandom by and large likes, that’s two good picks.

As for the rest, they’re very skippable Trek episodes on their own, and putting them in a collection to watch doesn’t bolster their quality.
