We’re bringing it back, the infamous mashup of Star Trek: The Next Generation cast and crew “singing” the classic Christmas song, “All I Want for Christmas…”

Few things in this world are as more aggravating than the constant loop of Mariah Carey’s seminal Christmas hit, “All I Want for Christmas is You”. Every year, around November, Carey’s song starts playing all over the United States, Canada, and probably Europe. It floods car stereos, holiday playlists on Spotify and Pandora, as well as every shopping outlet featuring several variations of the song.

It’s inescapable. You know the old saying, “In space, no one can hear you scream?” Well, we believe the saying should be, “In space, no one can hear you scream when ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ comes on”.

And to be honest, we’re not going to be helping you escape that song today, as we are once again featuring the best version of that Christmas chaos earworm for all of you this Christmas season.

Giving you another dose of Jean-Luc Picar and Q’s version of “All I Want For Christmas…”

You’d think being a Star Trek fan would save you from this song but we are once again featuring it here on our site in the hopes that new fans who don’t know this masterpiece exists can find it and enjoy it, as we have.

It features Patrick Stewart’s Jean-Luc Picard and John de Lancies’ Q “singing” the lyrics to the song, but in actuality, the creator of the video just found the proper corresponding lyrics through lines of dialogue that The Next Generation series featured on their show.

It mostly works, but there are times when you can tell where some creative editing had to be done to make things work. Still, this is a great song and better than anything that Kid Cudi released for Trek.
