Christmas is almost here and if you're like most people, you may have forgotten to get a gift for somebody. If that's the case, go to Five Below and pray you can find something for getting someone. Candy always works. That said, if someone on your list is a Star Trek fan, there are more than enough last-second Christmas gifts you can buy.
These gifts also work for Hanukah, or birthdays for that matter. So don't be afraid to use these for other events as well where gifts are welcomed.
So with that, let's go through some ideas.
Star Trek comics - Your local comic shop
Any Star Trek comic, namely the new series that IDW is publishing is a great idea for fans. I'd recommend if nothing else, get the trade paperbacks as they come. They give fans the best chance of displaying their Star Trek stories. However, single issues will do if there aren't any available. The current line of comics are canon stories that feature the return of Benjamin Sisko. That alone makes them worth the purchase.
Star Trek Ornaments - Anywhere Hallmark is sold
Hallmark has long made Star Trek ornaments and we've covered many of them over the years. Yet, Hallmark has two we think would make for great gifts. We have Captain Christopher Pike and a meeting of Data and Spock. For those working on their ship collection, you can also get the Enterprise NCC0-1701 that lights up, the Enterprise-B, or the USS Discovery with a light-up feature as well.
Numerous Star Trek DVDs - Anywhere DVDs are sold
Also out this holiday season are Star Trek: Prodigy's first two seasons on DVD, as well as the complete Star Trek: Discovery series, now in one total package. Getting all five seasons at once is a great idea for fans of the show.
Pliable Truths (by Dayton Ward) - Books a Million or Barnes and Noble.
Lastly, you could go to your local bookstore to get "Pliable Truths" by Dayton Ward. It sounds as though it's a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine prequel, which may mean a chance run-in between Jean-Luc Picard and Garak, at least that's what's being offered on the cover.

Assorted Items - Your local second-hand shop
Locally, we have this great place called the Exchange, that leans heavily into video games and music but it has a great pop culture section too. One of the things that it has a lot of is Star Trek merchandise. It's secondary market stuff, pre-owned, but it's still worth stopping by your local secondary market store and seeing if they have anything worth buying.
