How to watch the premiere of Star Trek: Lower Decks final season for free
By Chad Porto
Star Trek: Lower Decks is off and running with it's fifth and final season. The show was given a greenlight for one final season, and they intend on making the most of it. For five seasons it's been the franchise's comedy series, featuring such amazing voice talents as Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noel Wells and Eugene Cordero.
The quartet of leading voices have been joined by numerous other big names like Ariel Winter, Jerry O'Connell and Paul Scheer, among others, helping cement the show as a must-watch for those interested in a different take on Star Trek. If you like the stylings of Rick & Morty but wish it was more Star Trek-y, this is the show for you.
If that interests you and you've yet to see the series, it's not too late to hop on the fun-train. Simply join up on Paramount+ and start watching Lower Decks, and other Nu Trek series today. Yet, if you're a bit wary about spending even more money on yet another streaming service, you may not be too keen on watching Lower Decks, then.
Yet, we'd still suggest you give it a shot, as it may be right up your alley. Thankfully, for those of you not interested in spending more money on a streaming service to give a show a first look, you don't have to. In keeping with past traditions, Paramount+ has made the first episode of Lower Decks' final season available online for free.
That's right, you don't have to sign up for anything, you can go to the coresponding YouTube channel to watch the first episode of the show's fifth (and final) season without any mess.
The episode centers around the multiverse and gives you glimpses of what the series stars and ship could look like if things were a bit different.
