"InvestiGates—Who Do You Think You Are?" the podcast hosted by Star Trek alum Gates McFadden has already lined up some Star Trek star power for its third season. First debuting in May 2021 and produced by NacelleCast Studios, InvestiGates, the podcast has proved popular with its intimate conversations and deep dives into the actors and celebrities that discuss more than just their careers.

Coming up in season three as reported by Collider, we can look forward to Sonequa Martin-Green and David Ajala from Star Trek: Discovery which finished out the series fifth and final season today, May 30th. Also joining McFadden will be Todd Stashwick who played Captain Shaw on the third season of Star Trek: Picard as well as Michelle Hurd who starred in three seasons of Picard.

McFadden shared her thoughts on the renewal of her podcast in a statement which detailed excactly what you can expect from spending time with her guests.

""Intelligence, imagination, empathy, love of science, pretty darn funny, and a belief that the future may be better than we thought. Those are the qualities of my podcasts guests for this upcoming season. Lucky me!""

Nacelle CEO Brian Volk-Weiss also weighed in on the decision to green-light the third season of InvestiGates.

"It's been one of the great pleasures of my career to work with Gates on this show as she does a flawless job at reeling you in with smart questions, and then leaving you in awe of her incredible hosting abilities long after you've finished the episode."

If I haven't said this before, InvestiGates is one of the most thought-provoking podcasts streaming today. McFadden's guests share ntimate details that you probably won't hear anywhere else along with stories of their lives that will change you. One of my favorite episodes ouf of the twenty-five McFadden has hosted is her conversation with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Nana Visitor, which was actually two episodes. It is one of the talks that I had to listen two twice to make sure I didn't miss anything.

McFadden has a soothing, conversational style of interviewing her guests that lets you settle in for what is essentially a fireside chat. Until season three releases, you can listen to the first two seasons of InvestiGates on Spotify, Amazon, Apple Podcsts, and more. Visit for full details.
