William Shatner is most known by people as the man who led Star Trek in its early years. From 1966 to 1994, Shatner played James T. Kirk and did so brilliantly. A tentpole character of the franchise that had fans flocking to it for decades. Now, in the twilight of his life, it looks like he's finally stepping back from leading man roles. At least on television.
Despite being 93, Shatner is still going. He's voicing the character Keldor for Masters of the Universe: Revolution and recently starred in the 2021 film Senior Moment. He's not just still acting but he's serving as a host for a variety of programming as well. Like with his newest series, The UnXplained: Mysteries of the Universe.
Yet, if you were to dig deep and be fair, Shatner has only starred in a handful of shows. Eight by our count. He may have been in more but these seem to be the most major of his career. So we decided to go through them and see which ones stand out the most and which ones are utter trash.
For this purpose, zero personal opinions about the show will be factored in. This isn't which show we liked the most, this is the show that was arguably seen as the best. We'll be using the two most common metrics for fan approval in IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes.
Don't worry fans, we're only going to focus on the fan scores from Rotten Tomatoes. We know the critics can get it wrong a lot, so we'll be avoiding them for this list.
