Robert Kazinsky confirms filming has wrapped on Section 31 movie

Robert Kasinsky, who is best known for his role in Pacific Rim, confirmed on his Instagram page that filming has wrapped for the Section 31 movie starring Michelle Yeoh, [Via Trekmovie] who made history when she became the first Asian-American actress to win an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Kasinsky has an as of yet unknown role in the film which will stream on Paramount+. Kasinsky raved about his time on set, writing about how Star Trek is his hero and how his hero has exceeded his wildest expectations, adding praise for the movie's director Olatunde Osunsanmi, who is also the executive producer for Star Trek: Discovery.

Sharing an image of a wrap gift, Kasinsky said "from day one this was special, not just to me but to everyone here." He went on to talk about about the chemistry and camaraderie of the cast and how "the endless laughter support and love every single second of every day is something I'll carry with me forever."

Also joining the cast of the movie are Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl, Sam Richardson, Sven Ruygrok, Humberly Gonzalez, and James Hiroyuki Liao. Kasinsky also tagged other actors in his Instagram post, but, as of yet, their names aren't listed on IMDB as being a part of the movie. They are Joe Pingue, Miku Martineau, and Augusto Bitter. So far, we don't know what roles any of the actors are portraying other than Michelle Yeoh, of course.

We still don't have a full synopsis for the movie as nothing official has been shared other than the standard information shared when the film was announced. ", Emperor Philippa Georgiou, joins a secret division of Starfleet tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets and faces the sins of her past."

Kasinsky wrapped up his post by saying he hoped we liked what they made for us, adding that he thinks we''ll love it as he's a die-hard Trekker himself.
