Star Trek fans have long desired to explore the world that Gene Roddenberry created nearly 60 years ago. Whether it's iconic ships, space stations, planets, or just your run-of-the-mill eateries, Roddenberry created a universe that millions upon millions of fans have fantasized about exploring at least once in their life. That's the power of the vision of Star Trek and one that has fortified the fandom for generations.

Thanks to the folks at the Roddenberry Archive, these dreams are becoming more and more possible as time goes on. First launching in April of 2023, the interactive database allowed fans of all ages to explore various incarnations of the famous USS Enterprise ship, as well as several other famed locations.

Now, fans can start exploring some new ships as part of the Roddenberry Archive, powered by OTOY.

The first should be no surprise, as it's just begun its fifth and final season, which is the titular ship from Star Trek: Discovery, the USS Discovery. For right now the only part of the ship you can tour is the bridge but the goal of the project is to recreate as much of the ship as possible to be viewed, whether you want to do so through the free web browser (here) or through a 3D interactive device.

For those interested, the Discovery bridge has a sneak peak video you can check out here;

Joining the Discovery is also the home of a major show, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's titular Deep Space Nine space station. So far the entire promenade has been added and it's truly breathtaking to see restored for fans to tour through.

To make the experience even more memorable, a video featuring Armin Shimerman, the actor behind Quark, has been released escorting you through the halls of the famed station that Quark and others called home.

It would take too long to tell you what ships are actually available for you to tour, but modern ships like the Discovery are joined by the U.S.S. Cerritos of Star Trek: Lower Decks, and the U.S.S. Protostar from Star Trek: Lower Decks are also avalible.
