Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is the flag bearer of the Paramount-owned franchise. They are the top dog for the brand and are one of the few shows that can move the needle for Paramount+. They are the best of the best. They've achieved so many great things with just two seasons of episodes under their belt, and somehow, they keep achieving more.

Though this achievement seems less impressive when you realize how easy it should've been.

Despite being announced as a show for nearly four years now, the cast of the flagship Star Trek show has never once gotten together at a convention until this year. According to ScreenRant, the whole core crew of Strange New Worlds met up with one another for the first time at a convention for Star Trek Las Vegas: Trek to Vegas.

The event, also called "STLV: Trek to Vegas", featured Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Christina Chong, Dan Jeannotte, Melissa Navia, Bruce Horak, Jess Bush, Babs Olusanmokun, Celia Rose Gooding, and Melanie Scrofano on stage together. This was the first time all of the names have appeared together. Due to the size of the crew, they're usually either on separate panels or not everyone makes it.

In this case, everyone did, and they shared the stage in between two separate panels. Navia, Bush, Chong, Jeannotte, and Horak were a part of one panel, while the other saw Mount, Romijn, Peck, Gooding, and Scrofano on the other. Carol Kane was also there, but it appears she was just there in a non-panel capacity as she didn't seem to share the stage with the rest of the core crew.

The only other major name not involved in festivities was Paul Wesley, who plays James T. Kirk in the series. Apparently, Wesley had a solo interview to start the event on Thursday, as he had a prior engagement in Paris to attend the Olympics.

This may not seem like a major thing, but these moments aren't guaranteed to us. Only three members of The Original Series are still alive. The Next Generation crew are all 65+. The rest of the series cast members are getting up there too. We've already lost one of the younger members of the Star Trek 2009 cast Anton Yelchin.

It is so rare to be able to celebrate a show with the cast and crew all together at once, so when it happens, it should be celebrated.
