Alamo Drafthouse
Trekkies, Trekkers, and newcomers to the Star Trek fandom can also celebrate the exact same double features being offered by AMC and Cinemark (September 4-7) at Alamo Drafthouse cinemas.
However, rather than showing two double features like AMC or all four like Cinemark, select Alamo locations, including the Drafthouse in Springfield, Missouri, will screen The Genesis Trilogy (The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home) on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Plus, Alamo is offering Star Trek collectibles to commemorate the sci-fi franchise’s 60th anniversary. Fans can now pick up limited-edition USS Enterprise (TOS ) popcorn containers for $80 on the theater chain’s website.
And Mr. Spock pint glasses are also on sale ($20 each), which feature images of everyone’s favorite Vulcan, the Federation’s flagship, and Starfleet’s Delta insignia. Both items are pictured below, and you can check their availability on Alamo’s official merchandise website.
Where do you plan on celebrating 60 years of science fiction greatness: AMC, Cinemark, or Alamo? Are you going to just attend the double features, or are you going all in for the day-long marathon? Share your choices with us on the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages.
And be sure to visit the AMC Theatres and Alamo Drafthouse websites for more information and to purchase tickets in your area.
Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
