Conclusion
These 1966 episodes, which mark Star Trek’s 60th anniversary in 2026, show the franchise learning week by week how to strike the right balance between great ideas and pulp thrills, monsters and moral dilemmas.
Some episodes are definitely a little old-fashioned, but some feel surprisingly contemporary.
