A pulse-pounding, largre-screen spectacle

Star Trek Beyond is still an incredible film to see in 2026 when it comes to both sound and visuals. From the dazzling sabotage of a massive space station to the swarm attack ripping through the Enterprise, the film crew crafts innovative set pieces with a sense of location and speed that keep the action cohesive even at its wildest.

Michael Giacchino’s score, the brilliant look of the Yorktown starbase, and the playful needle drops lend Beyond a unique feel within the genre. At a lean 122 minutes, it never outstays its welcome, balancing spectacle with quieter character moments in a way that satisfies both casual viewers and hardcore Trekkies on rewatch.

10 years later, Star Trek Beyond still proves that the Kelvin timeline can produce fun, thought-provoking, and distinctly Trek big-screen experiences, making it a solid choice for an anniversary revisit in 2026.
