Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’s New York City premiere at the American Museum of Natural History was a huge success in no small part thanks to one of the franchise’s own hosting the star-studded event. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Celia Rose Gooding served as the host for the evening, and the Nyota Uhura actress did a fantastic job of holding down the blue carpet. Today, Gooding rightfully celebrated on social media, plus she shared some pictures and videos via Instagram. Gooding wrote on the post (below):
“BABY’S FIRST HOSTING GIG RAAAAAHHHHH. I had the pleasure of hosting the @startrek + @youtube livestream for the world premiere of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy! It was nerve racking, but so so fun.
