"It was nerve racking, but so so fun."

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’s New York City premiere at the American Museum of Natural History was a huge success in no small part thanks to one of the franchise’s own hosting the star-studded event. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Celia Rose Gooding served as the host for the evening, and the Nyota Uhura actress did a fantastic job of holding down the blue carpet. Today, Gooding rightfully celebrated on social media, plus she shared some pictures and videos via Instagram. Gooding wrote on the post (below):

“BABY’S FIRST HOSTING GIG RAAAAAHHHHH. I had the pleasure of hosting the @startrek + @youtube livestream for the world premiere of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy! It was nerve racking, but so so fun. Turns out, I’m not too bad! Getting to chat with the cast and creative team about Trek’s newest incoming hit was such a treat, I can’t wait for y’all to see it. Mark your calendars, first ep’s out on 1/15!! 🥳🖖🏾✨🛰️” (Continued...)
