Have you ever wanted to cook like you were on the Enterprise? Or maybe you want to eat as if you were flying through space discovering a Strange New World? Then there is a cookbook with your name on it! That is because there is a cookbook inspired by the Star Trek franchise that you can snag from a variety of retailers.

The Star Trek Cookbook by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel is perhaps the most impressive collection of recipes you could ask for if you are a fan of Star Trek. Not only are there some amazing photographs of the dishes throughout this cookbook, but the recipes themselves are actually quite simple to re-create at home. (Will there be some challenges? Of course, but nothing terrible.)

I went to the library to see if they had this cookbook in their catalog, and I was in luck because they did. So I brought it home and found that I was truly inspired by the recipes throughout the book. In a lot of ways, there is a creativity with these recipes that makes you think Star Trek, but at the same time, we aren’t talking about something so out there that you think an alien actually created it. Think of this as an experience that will give you a chance to taste new cultures and ideas.

What I enjoyed about this particular cookbook was that there was a little something for everyone, while also delivering something new and fresh. I really enjoyed creating some of the dishes in The Star Trek Cookbook because they were delicious and fun. It made me feel like I was on the mess deck of one of the Federation's ships! And after picking this cookbook up from the library, I think I may have to add this one to my collection.

Whether you are a Captain Kirk or a Captain Picard, it really feels like there’s a dish for you in The Star Trek Cookbook!
