2. Jonathan Archer
Commander (and briefly captain) Jonathan Archer is a strange dichotomy of a man in the Mirror Universe. He hides his ambitions until the time is right to strike, as he demonstrates by ambushing his own captain and putting him in the brig.
Unfortunately, this results in his own 10-hour stint in the agony booth after those who are loyal to Forrest put him back in charge, and breaks the trust between himself and Forrest forever.
This Archer, while unbalanced — it must have been so much fun for Scott Bakula to play the voice in his own head that drives his narcissistic ambitions — is not a stupid man.
Mirror Archer recognizes the possible power and technological advantage the USS Defiant would give him and the Empire, which he'd rule over. The Empire even agrees with his course of action!
Archer's end (poisoned by Hoshi Sato with tainted champagne) was mostly due to his narcissism. He believed Sato would be loyal to him, but her ambition outweighs his!
