Causey's contributions to horror, Halloween movies
In addition to being a die-hard Trekkie, I also love horror films. And Thomas Causey worked on some of the best scary flicks ever made thanks to his collaborations with macabre movie maestro John Carpenter.
Credited as Tommy Causey, he worked with Carpenter on some of the director's biggest projects, including Halloween (1978), Halloween II (1981), The Thing (1982), and Christine (1983). The two titans also teamed up for Carpenter’s Escape from New York (1981) and Big Trouble in Little China (1986).
Causey also worked on Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982), but Carpenter stepped aside as director for that entry and those which followed in the series featuring the iconic horror character, Michael Myers. (Continued...)
