4. 'All Good Things…' (TNG)
“All Good Things…” sends Picard ricocheting through three time periods, only to discover that the key to saving humanity lies not in some grand solo act, but in trusting and uniting with his crew. The trial “never ended,” and the answer is, fittingly, that Starfleet’s best hope is still cooperation.
The closing poker scene has become one of the franchise’s most beloved moments for a reason. Picard eventually joins the weekly game after years of keeping his distance.
Picard heartwarmingly looks at each of his dear friends/crew members and says, "I should have done this a long time ago," which is a simple but profound holiday message about letting people in. It's a simple reminder that you can always add another chair to the table, and it was the perfect way to end TNG's television run.
