Fans don’t need Paramount+ to enjoy this terrific trio.

Star Trek fans can always rely on watching all the beloved science fiction franchise’s best content on Paramount+, but, at the end of the day, it is a paid service. However, a popular and free streaming platform just added three of the saga’s best big-screen adventures to its catalog of films. Yes, the Kelvin Timeline movies are now available to watch absolutely free on Tubi.

Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), and Star Trek Beyond (2016) all materialized Friday, May 1, on Tubi after having been previously available for free on Pluto TV. Unfortunately, all the movie Treks were removed from Pluto TV at the end of April, but Trekkies without Paramount+ can still enjoy James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) and company’s trio of terrific adventures — just on another service.

Unfortunately, Tubi did not add any of the classic Star Trek entries like The Wrath of Khan, The Voyage Home, or First Contact to its streaming platform after all the beloved movies vanished from Pluto TV. However, the entire slate of television and film content — minus Star Trek: Prodigy — is always available through even Paramount+’s most affordable subscription plan. So you don't have to break the bank.

If you’re new to the sci-fi universe’s fandom, I can’t recommend director J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek (2009) and its sequel, Into Darkness, enough. The first Kelvin Timeline film is an excellent entry point for newcomers, and Marvel Cinematic Universe fans, who haven’t seen the flick yet, will immediately recognize a certain Avenger taking command of the USS Kelvin during the flick's opening sequence!

If you've never seen these terrific Star Trek movies, please share your thoughts and comments with us about the Kelvin Timeline films on the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages once you’ve watched them.

Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
