Khan (Naveen Andrews) became the hero Trekkies never knew they needed in the must-listen audio drama: Star Trek: Khan. In a world eventually ravaged by the destruction of Ceti Alpha VI and already crawling with deadly Ceti eels, Trek’s most dangerous villain loved his wife, Marla McGivers, and daughter Kali bravely while leading his people, the Augments. And Khan even learned to share planetary resources with the unexpected alien race known as the Elboreans, who crash-landed on Ceti Alpha V.

However, every last ounce of humanity was drained from Khan’s soul when the small escape vessel Venture attempted to leave Ceti Alpha V in order to go get help from another world. Four members from the Elboreans and Augments' combined society were chosen to make the journey, and Khan made sure his beloved child, Kali, was aboard. And then… the unthinkable happened.

Believing his young daughter was killed in what appeared to be the Venture exploding in the planet’s atmosphere, Khan’s tears and anguish choked off his remaining humanity, turning his heart ice cold. With both Marla and Kali now dead, wrath was the only emotion left, which Khan held onto until he finally escaped exile to seek revenge against James T. Kirk.
