Star Trek: Khan 'Scheherazade' needs to be adapted into a TV episode (and this is why)

3. Joaquin's death

The main action of episode 2's story is a boar hunt that turns deadly, and this scene would clearly work much better in live-action. A small bit is Khan respecting Ceti Alpha V and wanting the Augments to work with the environment rather than just take it over. He does assert himself, taking on a boar, and a live-action scene of him defeating it on his own would be fantastic to see, with his strength on full display.

More dramatic, though, was the boar killing Khan’s ally and friend, Joaquin. It was an emotional moment in which Khan was unable to save his friend, likely garnering plenty of slow-motion filming of the fatal attack with Joaquin dying in Khan’s arms in live-action.
