Star Trek: Khan 'Scheherazade' needs to be adapted into a TV episode (and this is why)

4. The Augment interactions

The podcast is named after Khan, yet the way it expands the scope to the other Augments is excellent. A live-action take could show rather than tell how Ivan hid murdering Hugo, still acting as Khan’s right-hand man. There could also be the ugly looks the Augment Sylvana gave Marla for interrupting her and Richter in episode 2, as the Enterprise outsider has to fight to earn respect.

There’s also good character dynamics, such as young Richter and Sylvana’s romance. Seeing them banter and play would be a lovely sight, with Khan looking amused at their young love. Indeed, seeing a Khan who smiles and even cracks jokes would be a striking sight for viewers who only know him as a vengeful madman. It’d humanize Khan more while also hinting at his darker fall.
