Star Trek: Khan is one of the most entertaining projects the franchise has put out in years. It’s more striking given it’s not a TV show or movie but a nine-part audio drama, a first for Star Trek. It works thanks to its exploration of one of the most distinctive tales in Trek lore: the exile of Khan Noonien Singh on Ceti Alpha V and his transformation from a genetically enhanced warrior in the classic TOS episode “Space Seed” to the madman in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

Voiced by Naveen Andrews, Khan is a stellar lead with Wrenn Schmidt starring as Marla McGivers, the USS Enterprise historian who follows him into exile, and the pair eventually fall in love. The show has unique touches, such as a framing device in which the historian Dr. Rosalind Lear (Sonya Cassidy) is aided by Captain Sulu and Ensign Tuvok in exploring what happened to Khan via old log entries.

The tale featured surprising twists and turns before wrapping up very well. So, with that in mind, the following pages rank each episode of the Khan podcast, and Trek fans old and new will love this fantastic drama.
