The Excelsior‑class rarely gets the merch love it deserves, despite being Sulu’s command and the basis for the Enterprise‑B in Generations. A LEGO Excelsior set that doubles as a 2‑in‑1 Enterprise‑B would finally give that elegant, elongated profile its due, with shared core modules and alternate saucers and add‑on parts for both versions.

Minifigs could cover both eras: Captain Sulu and Janice Rand for Excelsior, alongside Captain Harriman, Demora Sulu, and Generations Kirk in his maroon movie jacket for the Enterprise‑B mission alongside Scotty and Chekov.
