A documentary worth watching

While some documentaries can come off drier than week-old Starfleet rations, the sneak-peek clip reveals a heartwarming and intimate tone as Westmore shares memories and anecdotes with Brent Spiner, Sir Patrick Stewart, Gates McFadden, Michael Dorn, and Jonathan Frakes! It's easy to see that these are not just some actors Westmore worked with; instead, they became extended family.
Another aspect of the clip that I found enjoyable is that Westmore is proud of his family's past and the history they created in the Hollywood studio makeup business, minus the whole Gill-man misstep. There's no stage, no panel lights, and no audience. There's only Westmore and a handful of Star Trek legends sharing memories, which should make the remainder of this documentary a fantastic watch in its entirety.
Producer David Zappone hopes to have director Jonathan West's Michael Westmore documentary ready for release by 2026. Will you be watching? Share your thoughts and comments with us on the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages.
