The Nacelle Company’s President of Production, Cisco Henson, passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, according to a report by the well-renowned trade publication, Deadline. Henson was 61 years old, leaving behind a wife and two children. At the time of this writing, no cause of death has been released. Henson was an integral part of the Nacelle Company, which sells some of the best Star Trek action figures available. In a statement released Wednesday, Dec. 10, Henson’s colleague and Nacelle’s founder/CEO Brian Volk-Weiss had this to say, which reads as follows:

“I had the honor and pleasure of working with Cisco for 14 years. We had offices next to each other for over a decade. Few people have made me laugh more or harder, and it goes without saying that Nacelle would not be where it is without him. I miss him very much, and I know I can say that on behalf of the whole company as well as his many, many friends. He was a great man, colleague, friend, father and husband. We are all vastly better off for knowing him.”

The Nacelle Company’s most recent Star Trek offerings include some stunning action figures which are a part of their Wave 1 and Wave 2 lines. The first package features fan-favorite scaled toy replicas of Mirror Universe Jonathan Archer from Star Trek: Enterprise and the captain of the USS Excelsior, Hiraku Sulu. Henson, like the others at the Nacelle Company were undoubtedly and rightfully proud of their collectible Star Trek figures. Henson’s wife, Aizita Magana, said via the same story:

“[Cisco] really cared about the work, but he cared even more about helping others […] His legacy is the comedy he gave to the world, and his family, friends and colleagues are forever enriched by his presence in their life.”

In addition to his contributions to Star Trek via the Nacelle Company, Henson was a prolific Hollywood producer, who even garnered two Daytime Emmy nominations (Outstanding Travel, Adventure and Nature Program) for his work on the documentary series Down to Earth with Zac Efron in 2021 and 2023.

Henson's one acting credit came starring in 45 episodes of the stand-up comedy series Coming to the Stage as himself/Mr. Microphone.

Mr. Henson’s legacy lives on, as does his valuable contributions to Star Trek, as the Nacelle Company’s Wave 2 Star Trek figures will offer Trekkies the opportunity to own collectibles of both Star Trek Generations’ Captain James T. Kirk and The Original Series’ imposing Romulan Commander, portrayed by Mark Lenard in “Balance of Terror.”
