Star Trek: TNG actor didn't have a sense of humor (in the beginning, at least)

Obviously, things got better, but he was not laughing then.

Crosby discovered Stewart found a sense of humor by season 3

Obviously, the road was rocky in the beginning, but the cast — like the show itself — found a way to endure the hard times. While Crosby left Star Trek: The Next Generation following the conclusion of the season 1 episode “Skin of Evil,” the actress returned to reprise the role — despite Tasha’s death — in the must-see alternate timeline extravaganza, “Yesterday’s Enterprise,” from season 3.

And, as most Trekkies already know, Crosby and Stewart got along much better the second time around the galaxy together. “Oh, Patrick got a sense of humor!” Crosby exclaimed during the same sit-down as she recalled working with him upon her return in season 3.

After the success of “Yesterday’s Enterprise,” it’s no surprise that Crosby returned and collaborated multiple times with her Next Generation co-stars again but as Tasha’s half-human, half-Romulan daughter Sela from an alternated timeline. And I’m so glad Crosby came back because the episodes with Sela, particularly “Unification II,” are some of my favorites from the entire seven-season run of TNG.
