Should fans be excited about where the franchise is boldly going?
Paramount continued its aggressive moves — on the heels of merging with Skydance last year — by acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery in an unprecedented deal reportedly worth just north of $110 billion. So, what does this mean for Star Trek? It will be home to many of the world's most iconic and enduring franchises, including Harry Potter, Mission Impossible, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, the DC Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Star Trek and SpongeBob SquarePants.”
