2. The art finds urgency and humor
Kisai Entertainment’s artwork continues to get a great deal out of the vertical WEBTOON format. The opening countdown immediately creates momentum, and the airlock situation is easy to follow even as multiple characters offer competing ideas. That clarity matters because the scene needs to feel frantic without becoming visually confusing.
The most effective images are the ones that highlight separation. Remy remains on the other side of the door while the crew tries to solve the problem from a position of helplessness. The physical barrier reinforces the episode’s emotional theme: the passengers occupy the same ship, but they remain divided by missing memories, incomplete information, and increasingly fragile trust.
The chapter also makes space for dry humor amid the tension. Accel’s acknowledgment that the crisis is outside his usual skill set helps the sequence breathe without undermining the danger. That tonal flexibility has become a strength of Recollection.
The story can move from a potentially fatal situation to an awkward conversation in the canteen while keeping the characters’ fear and exhaustion intact.
