Boldly go and explore must-see classics at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

San Diego Comic-Con 2026 gets underway in two weeks, and the annual convention’s schedule is finally in the process of being unveiled. And, as it turns out, there are plenty of reasons to attend SDCC other than the lavish Hall H presentations this year, including classic screenings of episodes from various Star Trek series. Check out the full day-to-day line up of Treks to watch with other fans in America’s Finest City below.

On San Diego Comic-Con preview night, Wednesday, July 22, The Original Series must-see classic “Balance of Terror” will be screened at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina hotel’s Grand Ballroom 5 (6 p.m. PDT). Immediately following at 7 p.m., be sure to stick around for one of my favorite Strange New Worlds episodes: the incredible Lower Decks crossover “Those Old Scientists.”

Thursday, July 23, marks the first full day of San Diego Comic Con, and fans can make a morning and afternoon of it at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina hotel’s Grand Ballroom 5 with a total of six Star Trek episodes, including one of Deep Space Nine’s most profound and rewatchable installments: “In the Pale Moonlight,” which is scheduled for 5:20 p.m.

The other Treks being shown on Thursday at the Grand Ballroom 5 include DS9’s “Far Beyond the Stars” (10 a.m.), TNG’s “The Outcast” (12:40 p.m.), (DS9’s “Past Tense” (1:40 p.m.), The Original Series classic “The Trouble with Tribbles” (3:20 p.m.), and immediately following at 4:20 p.m., watch its DS9 follow-up “Trials and Tribble-ations.”

On Friday, July 24, at the same venue, Star Trek fans can enjoy a screening of The Original Series episode “Let That Be Your Last Battlefield” (12:40 p.m.), which guest stars Batman television series icon Frank Gorshin.

And two final episodes, TNG’s “The Measure of a Man” (1:15 p.m.) — arguably the best Data (Brent Spiner) episode — and Voyager’s “Author, Author” (2:15 p.m.) are scheduled for Saturday, July 25. Unfortunately, there aren't any episodes currently scheduled for Sunday, July 26.

Personally, I’d try attending all four days of Star Trek screenings because of my love of the franchise and nostalgia. However, it’s hard to tear oneself away from SDCC’s main venue, the San Diego Convention Center, because so much is happening at the annual event, particularly in Hall H. Just remember, though, the hotel is only a five-minute walk from the convention center.

Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
