Are you ready for another exciting episode recap of Star Trek: Scouts? In this episode, JR and the crew face a mighty meatball asteroid that's on course to hit their ship and make a mushy mess if they don't stop it in time!
The episode opens with JR, Sprocket, and Roo, along with their intergalactic pets, who are all enjoying zero gravity games. A moment later, though, the astro-alarm sounds, and Sprocket shows the others that an asteroid is heading for the training center! The Scouts all take their stations after some bumpy landings when Star restores the gravity.
Sprocket tells JR that the asteroid is a meatball from the Noodle Nebula! Star seems very happy about this, and who can blame him? Everyone loves noodles! The Scouts have only four minutes to blast the mega meatball, so they activate the asteroid deflector wheel.
The Scouts upload and launch a stop sign at the mega meatball, but it only sticks to the surface of the asteroid. Sprocket says that it's because "Meatballs have no respect for intergalactic traffic laws."
As the clock shows 2:29, until the meatball arrives, JR realizes they have to try again before it's too late! A second spin of the wheel brings up a fork, which Roo energizes for the launch.
Just as JR prepares to launch the fork, Zips brings his ball and his puppy eyes, so JR can't resist tossing the ball for him. It bounces off the wall and turns off the gravity switch! Oh, no!
The Scouts float around for a few seconds until Roo reminds Sprocket of his bionic arm. He reaches the button, and they take another tumble but manage to launch the fork at the asteroid just in time! The fork breaks the asteroid into pieces, causing a meatball shower! The mission is a success, but I bet Star wished it rained noodles, too.
