Today’s Star Trek: Scouts mission is to save a trapped animal from a landslide! As the holodeck loads in, Roo scans the area to find that they’re on an undiscovered planet. Sprocket says it resembles Earth, millions of years ago, back when dinosaurs were roaming the world.

The kids rush to the trapped dinosaur and Roo scans it with her tricorder. She identifies it as a Galactic Pterodactyl, which Sprocket names a “Galactidactyl." But the animal is still trapped and the mudslide is coming fast!

JR’s idea is to block the mud with something, so Sprocket offers his mini tractorbeam to JR so he can move a large rock into the mud’s path and lift the large branch pinning the Galactidactyl’s wing.

The animal is now free and safe from the mudslide, but the diverted mud is now heading toward the Galactidactyl’s tree that’s holding a nest full of eggs. The mud hits the tree knocking the whole nest out, and onto the mud river, which then carries it away.

The Galactidactyl tries to fly to the eggs but can’t due to its injured wing. But Roo is on it! She jumps onto her hoverboard and heads in to help. JR comforts the mother Galactidactyl, saying, “Roo is the best hoverboarder in the universe!”

The eggs in the nest start to hatch as they head over a cliff! Then, just in time, Roo swoops down to save them. The babies are reunited with their mother and the Scouts have done it again! They circle up and put their hands in, chanting, “Discover, grow, boldly go!”
