Welcome back to another Star Trek: Scouts holodeck rescue. In this outing, JR, Roo, and Sprocket head under the sea to rescue some luminous fish caught in a crab's whirlpool!

As the episode begins, the Scouts suit up in the holodeck for an underwater adventure, where some Lumia fish are caught in a powerful whirlpool. Sprocket deploys his bionic arm to reach into the whirlpool, but it sucks him inside! Oh, space beans. Now, how will JR and Roo free him and the fish?

Meanwhile, Sprocket discovers he's not alone in the whirlpool. Along with the luminous fish, Mr. Moonchuck (how in Kronos did he end up there?), and some yummy treats like pickles and hot dogs with mustard!

JR deploys his pocket transporter but beams out one of the hot dogs instead of Sprocket because of the water's fast currents. On his second try, JR beams out Mr. Moonchuck, who gobbles down the hot dog, as Roo and JR realize they have to try something else to retrieve Sprocket and the fish.

JR and Roo then activate their aquapod to venture into the whirlpool itself, just in time to see Sprocket falling into the heart of the swirling waters!

They follow him down to the bottom, deep underwater, where Roo, who's afraid of the dark, asks JR to turn on the lights. Not only does this reveal an unharmed Sprocket, but the Lumia fish and a gigantic whirlpool crab!

Roo discovers that whirlpool crabs share her fear of the dark, and this crab captured the fish to light up the way underwater. JR asks Sprocket if he has anything on hand to replace the fish's light, which inspires the Vulcan to build something and have his own musical montage as well!

Sprocket builds a lantern for the whirlpool crab out of items he finds in the water, then makes a "pinchy promise" with the giant crab that it won't capture the Lumia fish anymore.

The crab is very happy with its new light source and blows the Scouts a kiss as the fish swim away free. Great job, Scouts!
