4. Conclusion
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4's sixth episode, “Off-Hour,” earns its intensity because the disaster exposes what these characters want, fear, and need from one another.
M’Benga survives, Chapel chooses the Enterprise, and Scotty takes a major step toward becoming the engineer audiences know he will be. It is a tense episode, but it is also a deeply hopeful one, which wonderfully pays respect to the beloved disaster genre.
