4. Genesis Lythe
It’s not only Bella Shepard's Genesis Lythe we need back. There’s so little we know about Genesis and her people: the Dar-Sha. We do know Genesis is the daughter of an admiral and grew up on spaceships all her life, indicating an odd upbringing. She’s harder on herself than anyone else, but getting a chance to captain the USS Athena was a boost for her self-confidence.
More importantly, Genesis is the first Dar-Sha alien shown in Star Trek lore. We know next to nothing about her people, their history, culture, or even their homeworld. It’s been a long time since we got a fresh alien race in Star Trek, and ignoring all of that would be a tragedy.
Shepard already teased a season 2 SFA episode focusing on Genesis, so, hopefully the Dar-Sha won't be thrown away.
