Star Trek has always been about optimism, mentorship, and the endless potential of what people can become. If Starfleet Academy follows those rules, it can bring back the spirit that has kept Trek alive for almost 60 years.

This means treating legacy characters with respect, making pupils who are realistic, and valuing moral complexity above spectacle. There doesn't need to be another war story in the galaxy. It needs new explorers, cadets ready to ask why as much as how.
