Fans need to get over the Jem'Hadar controversy

The thing I can’t fathom when it comes to the controversy surrounding Lura Thok being a female Jem’Hadar is just how short-sighted some of the Star Trek fandom is, not to mention how they're behaving toward this matter.
Over 800 years have passed since the genetically engineered species first appeared in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, which is set in the 24th century. Did it ever occur to those criticizing the first officer of the USS Athena that the Jem’Hadar might have evolved by the 32nd century?
Plus, in the must-see fourth episode of Starfleet Academy, “Vox in Excelso,” Lura revealed to her fellow Klingon, Jay-Den Kraag (Karim Diane), that she came from a freed Jem’Hadar lineage on her father’s side of the family.
And her mother was a Klingon, so, yes, Thok was obviously conceived. And to all those so-called Trekkies who can’t get onboard with evolution, remember, the Bob Dylan song clearly points out: “The Times They Are a-Changin.”
Are you a fan of Lura Thok and Jett Reno’s relationship on Starfleet Academy? Or are you one of those who just can’t get over there being a female Jem’Hadar in the 32nd century? Share your thoughts and comments with us on the matter via the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages.
Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
