Celia Rose Gooding began the night on the blue carpet by interviewing Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’s big baddie, Paul Giamatti, who emphasized just how angry and serious his villain Nus Braka is. Giamatti laughed, "Dead serious! There's nothing... no joking about this man at all!"
Playing the streaming series villain is a dream come true for the Golden Globe-winning actor, who loves Star Trek. Yes, he is a fan, but Giamatti told Gooding that he doesn't have an encyclopedia's worth of knowledge either. He still loves the science fiction universe, though. And, as Trekkies already know, Deep Space Nine is his absolute favorite series. Speaking of faves, I suspect Nus Braka will become one of mine.
