Class begins in just over a week for the 32nd century cadets joining Starfleet Academy. The upcoming Star Trek show’s cast is loaded with veteran talent, including Holly Hunter, Paul Giamatti, and Robert Picardo, but one of the most intriguing characters is being played by 25-year-old Kerrice Brooks.

Brooks takes on the role of SAM (Series Acclimation Mil) in the upcoming Star Trek streaming series, and the intriguing character is a four-month-old hologram, who is joining the Academy's campus located in San Francisco.
