Star Trek: Starfleet Academy has brought us very joyous moments thus far. It has placed many characters in a family setting that feels perhaps even more wholesome than any other series to date.

However, not every episode has been well received. Season 1, episode 8, “The Life of the Stars” has a 6.2/10 rating on IMDb. While not the worst rating of the season, it feels as though this episode did not receive the credit it is do for its depth and character development.
