The final episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’s first season, "Rubincon," currently holds a 6.8/10 stars rating on IMDb. That seems surprisingly low for one of the better episodes from the first year, which pushed the action, drama and plotlines to new lengths.

We saw a long-awaited reunion, wonderful character development, and a bold step forward for the second season. With that in mind, the following are five reasons why "Rubincon" should be rated far higher than 6.8 stars on IMDb.
