Conclusion | Rating

Remember, my final rating for Star Trek: Starfleet Academy episode 5 "Series Acclimation Mil" is only as high as it is thanks to the inclusion of the three Deep Space Nine characters: Benjamin Sisko, his son, and Dax.

So, I give “Series Acclimation Mil” 3/5 stars, a very average score, whereas I rated my favorites of the season higher: “Kids These Days” 4/5 stars and “Vox in Excelso” 4/5 stars.

In all honesty, had it not been for the DS9 nod, this would have been my least favorite season 1 entry.

Have you watched the latest episode of Starfleet Academy? Was your enjoyment of the new installment predicated on the inclusion of the DS9 characters, rather than the quality of the storytelling, too? Share your thoughts and comments with us on the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages.
