Starfleet Academy's streaming position outside of the United States

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy still debuted in the Top 10 worldwide but it just snuck in at No. 9 according to FlixPatrol. This is not a favorable position to be in, but the show will likely climb when the first two episodes are discovered over the coming days. For now, though, Starfleet Academy is stuck behind much older titles which have been streaming internationally, like Taylor Sheridan’s other hits Yellowstone and Tulsa King.
In the United States, Starfleet Academy also performed well on the Top 10 overall (from Amazon channels) chart. Showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau’s series checked in again at No. 3, falling behind only the aforementioned Landman and The Running Man remake featuring Glen Powell and Josh Brolin.
I predict Starfleet Academy won’t be stuck at No. 9 on Paramount Plus long, but this is likely not the result the creator and showrunners were hoping for. Do you think the series deserves to be ranked higher worldwide? Share your thoughts and comments with us on the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages. And Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is now streaming on Paramount Plus.
Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
