3. Character development
During Kenga's talk with Syrrik in Stargazers episode 20, Kenga reveals that she used to be part of an entertainment troupe, yet MeeMee didn't like how the leader, Geldar, treated Kenga.
This fills in a bit more of the latter's past and the growth she's experienced since living on DS9. And we have to love MeeMee, who told Kenga, "Just so long as you get the hell away from him... that's all that matters." She had Geldar's number when it came to him manipulating his people under the guise of guidance.
It's sweet how Syrrik is opening up to Kenga and the others, and even accepts a hug from Kenga before going to confront Jato. I think he's gaining more confidence with every conversation he has with his growing circle of friends, and I can't wait to see what Jato thinks of what he's learned.
