2. Artwork

The high emotions of Stargazers episode 22 call for emotional artwork, which Kisai Entertainment artist Cyrel W absolutely delivers. Color changes, zoom-ins, zoom-outs, and angles all serve to support the tension of the episode.

When the emotions of both characters run high, dark and shadowy colors surround them. The red shades that surround Jato indicate intense anger and suggest that there is not much redeeming about him.

The blue shades that surround Syrrik are indicative of not just intense anger, but also sadness over the fact that he feels like he is losing his father.

In all, the artwork of this episode is seemingly the best of the series so far. It is comparable to when good cinematography delivers the emotion of a scene in a movie.
