2. Artwork
The artwork in Stargazers episode 5 is so vibrant, especially when it comes to the clothing. This aligns with characters on Star Trek series who express themselves through the way they dress, such as Lwaxana Troi or Ishka, Quark and Rom's mother. Leon's colorful jacket reminds us that although he's still young, and he's still expressing himself via his clothing and color choices.
Another artwork and storyboarding choice that I believe enhances this chapter is the shape and use of verbs like "Whoosh," "dash," and "yell." In particular, "DU DUN" pops up when Leon reveals images of elves from the Archduke of the Bracelets in class and believes they're Vulcans.
There's also the use of "FWUMP" when Leon sits down on the bed next to Alfie. These elements add a sense of motion to the chapter, despite the digital static form of the comic, as well as provide us with something of an internal soundtrack, as it were, while reading.
